Cathedral of St. John the Divine

Some of the studio’s most outstanding and prominent work can be seen at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine in New York City.

Started in 1892, the church stands as the largest Gothic structure in the world and serves as the seat of the Bishop of New York and Diocesan Mother Church. The design of the church is the work of two architectural firms; C Grant LaFarge from 1887-1911 and Ralph Adam Cram from 1911 – 1941. Willet designer, Marguerite Gaudin designed the last six windows at the Cathedral, joining the likes of some of the most prominent stained glass artists of the time, including Louis Comfort Tiffany, D’Ascenzo studios, and Charles J. Connick.
